I didn't see a group created yet for people applying in Feb/March for the fall 2015 nursing program at TCC. Figured I would start one! I am sooo ready to apply, get accepted, and start! It cant come fast enough!

Are you completing all pre-requisites for associates and bachelors before it starts?

I was told passport is preferred as you will have to get one done if accepted anyways but not required with the app

Hello everyone! I just turned in my application today! 4.0 science GPA and 88.5 on the HESI. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I took a picture of myself and printed it at Walgreens and the lady had no issues with it. Good luck everyone!

I believe there are seven versions of the Hesi given at random during a designated time period. The version I took had one problem focusing on conversion and nothing about Roman numerals. My version focused heavily on ratios and percents. I recommend the study guide offered at the TRC bookstore. I worked every problem in the book once, as well as re familiarized myself with the conversion tables, and I was more than prepared for the test.

I have taken the HESI a few times and each time there was a lot of ratio conversions.

The reading is tricky....study that part more than you think you need to:-) That's my suggestion! Good luck!

Idk if I should even apply since I only have one A (a&p1) in the science gpa. With B's in a&p2 and micro.

You should still apply! You never know:-) If you do really well on your HESI!

Turned in my application today! 4.0 gpa and a 92 on the hesi :) I'm really hoping these scores will get me in. Good luck to everyone

Yes, I turned in the immunization sheet with my current doctor's signatures and then my shot records from high school that showed the vaccines I got during childhood from my previous doctor!

When I turned in my application the lady told me we would be notified April 21st. Was anyone told differently? I turned mine in this past Tuesday.

Yeah she told me April 21st too.

Since on the application packet it shows April 15th they either made a mistake or they had to push the date back for whatever reason.
