I didn't see a group created yet for people applying in Feb/March for the fall 2015 nursing program at TCC. Figured I would start one! I am sooo ready to apply, get accepted, and start! It cant come fast enough!

Are you completing all pre-requisites for associates and bachelors before it starts?

Yes, I heard a lot of people was accepted with lower grades. Gives me hope. My GPA is only 3.25. So I am hoping for higher HESI results. The class I have A is not needed anymore (which is sad I could focus more on another class) Math is very easy, but English part little bit challenging, since English is my second language. :)

Hello Everyone,

I will be applying for Fall 2015 as well and I am excited but nervous at the same time my overall gpa is 3.75 and Hesi was 85 I am retaking it in March to bring the score up. I want to wish all of you luck! Pray that we get it!

I have an A in A&P 1, and A in A&P 2, and a B in Micro. I didn't do well on my HESI last time (83%), and I think that's why I didn't get in....so I am going to work on getting my HESI up.....hopefully that will be what get's me the golden ticket!!!

Does anyone know if TCC asks about high school diploma or GED on their application?

I am trying to set up a HESI testing date through pro metric and it's asking me for a school department ID number. I called the school and they said they don't have one but I can just use another schools ID. I can't find one online that will work. Anyone know of a good department ID number I can use?

I applied last semester and I think it does ask about your High School Education. If I remember correctly is just asked if you do have a High School diploma or GED, it doesn't ask for anymore info though.

I thought they looked at the gpa of the pre-reqs which would also include psych and english..

Science. English and psych aren't prereqs for tcc
