So I think we are well into the application period so, surely it is time to start up this board. I can not wait until we hear back in May. Trying to keep very busy while waiting. Good luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully we can keep each other company here and celebrate our successes!!

Okay peeps I'm ready to find out this week! I had to laugh, I read somewhere on here how the wait to start nursing school is worse than the wait to find out if you're accepted. I'm going to state now for the record that that will not be the case for me. I'm sure I'll be excited to start come August but this wait is worse. And honestly, I'm half scared to start! I feel like I need all the time I can get before D-day!

I'm with you maamcdonald!! I will be enjoying my summer off (if I find out that I'm in) before all the hard work begins!! This wait has been torture!! Hopefully this is our week!! :)

I dropped one of my summer courses as I discovered I had already taken it (10 years ago)! Somehow it was transferred incorrectly to TCC..but it is definitely there on my Texas Tech transcript! Need to speak with someone about that I suppose.. I am keeping my eyes peeled for nutrition online summer 1 now to open, although I am sure it won't! There is an evening stats class I am looking at, since so many of you said not to take it online, but gosh...I don't know if I want to be at the campus M-Th for 5 weeks...guess I better decide since there is only 7 spots left. I really can't believe it is the end of April and we still don't know! What with everyone stating they had heard 3-4 weeks! I guess it keeps us on our toes. My friend in the program (the same one who recommended the skechers!) said she went down to the nursing office and asked if they knew when we would hear and they told her the first week of May. At this point I guess it doesn't matter as we are almost there anyways..but I still am holding out hopes for an earlier email! Hope you all are hanging in there! I am trying!

Thanks for letting us know. I guess I'll tear myself away from my computer and do something productive with my day now! Haha, I would be embarrassed to have them know how many times I'm checking my email!!

I am so pathetic that I figured out from the spring feed that they found out at 3:37PM. Someone actually posted what time their email arrived. So everyday at 3:37 I check my email. They also found out on a Thursday, just so you don't have to go figure it out like I did. Ughh...just tell us already!

B&C - I know, me too!! I know it was a Thurs b/c I was on the FB page back then - had originally planned to apply for spring. I was the one who text my friend who's had applied that she needed to check her CC email!! I know the date, day of the week, and time the email was sent from the board and FB page. So funny!! Nah....we aren't obsessed or anything!! It is going to be hilarious when we look back and see how crazy we all were waiting to find out! :)

LOL! I already knew it was Thursday because I looked it up a few weeks back. I had a hunch they might be contacting us and when I found out it was also a Thursday, I got so excited! Then a couple days ago I tried to find out what time they had sent the emails out. Could never find it but I was looking for it! So thanks for that tidbit! I'm going to go crazy if 'first week of May' does not mean May 1st!!!

It is making me crazy because they have to already know. Why are they not telling us? There cannot be that many people tied for the last spot. It should just be plug in the numbers, and let them fall where they may. What else do they factor in? They said there are no bonus points anymore, no points for additional courses, and no points for a prior degree. They do not even give their students prefrence. AGGGHHH!!! The only thing I keep telling myself is when I applied last time, my college algebra did not count because I had tested out of it at spring testing my freshmen year at LSU. They sent me a notice almost immediately after the application period closed to give me time to see if LSU still had my actual scores on file. I am old, so they did not, but maybe they just give people time to get that kind of thing straightened out.
