Tarrant County College ADN Fall 2016

Published

Hi there! This topic is for students applying for TCCD Fall 2016 ADN program. I'm excited about getting the ball rolling!

Just made an account so I can join the discussion! I am so nervous about getting the decision letter.... Actually emailed Katherine my scores and asked if that seemed competitive and she replied with "I don't know yet." How is everyone feeling!?

Anxious!!!! What are your scores?

Anxious too! What are your scores? If you look at past threads for TCC nursing you can kinda get a good picture for what is competitive and what is not

I just did look at the past threads, and that just made me feel a lot worse.... I have 2Bs and 1A with 94.50 on HESI. I wish they still counted Chemistry and other stuff like before. Also, is there any way I can make this page give me notifications if someone else posts on this page? Kinda new to this! Haha

Your hesi is really good and will balance out the GPA!!!

Hopefully!!! I did really well on all the other sections except the vocabulary part and that totally lowered my score :(

I can't believe how fast they send out the decision letter though! BSN programs make you wait months.....

You should be fine. I looked on past threads and people got in with same GPA and a slightly lower HESI. I have the same GPA and I made a 92.5 on the HESI- Katherine said not to worry. And I've had a few colleagues graduate from TCC nursing and they were admitted with same GPA and same HESI so I think worse case we would be alternates

Thanks!! That makes me feel a little better. I hope we both get in! Where do you work? Also, are you guys planning on doing everything on campus?

I think your scores are competitive for this program. You're HESI score is really great. I want letters so bad I can't stand it and it's only the 2nd...

Same here! One day I'm confident and the next not so much. I keep looking at past threads and tell myself that it's all okay. But I still worry

That's what I keep telling myself that people have gotten in with the same GPA and lower hesi scores, so I should be ok. But every other day I doubt myself.

I want campus based program, I learn better that way.

Well I am just glad that I at least have some people who share the same feelings. My poor husband has been stuck with me freaking out and stressing out for the past I don't know even know how long. I have mini anxiety attacks like every 30 minutes!! haha.
