jimminy, I think the best thing is baby oil. I took a survey here and we all think it is baby oil. The all time best stuff for grease and oil is Goop. Gary

We use mineral oil. Fairly good results and very gentle. Also have used stuff that is for adhesive removal, can't remember the name of the stuff but it is a mixture of citric acid and mineral oil. Think that the pure old mineral oil works best.

Hi

We have used mayo or wd-40. in the past. I think the major concept is an oily base.

Goop is a brand of hand soap in a big plastic jar that is used by mechanics and other people with hard to clean hands. We always keep it on hand in our ED. It looks just like it's name.;)

Kaycee,

Thanks for answering for me. GOOP has no alcohol in it and does not make the wounds worse. Disolves the grease quickly and lets you wash it away with water. The next best thing I know of is diesel. Unlike gasoline, diesel will not burn on contact. Gary

Anything with an oil base should work. Mayo works great!
