When you got your letter through email what did it look like? I know its supposed to come through our nursing cas email but im not sure what to be looking for!

My letter was for TEXAS TECH VBSN, just to clarify. But it came through my email and told me to check the status portal with texas tech vbsn they dont use CAS.

Yes fingers crossed for you guys too! I wish you all the luck! Make sure to get a group chat with your cohort because it will SAVE you! We all help each other and it makes the process so much better! Also, getting in contact and learning from the upper level students helps soooo much too! ????????????

It looked like this and it was about 7 or 8 questions. Two of them were "List 3 goals you have for yourself right now" and "List 3 things your are proud of for accomplishing". One said " 50% of students who go to a university don't graduate, if this happened to you what would be the most likely cause," and listed multiple choice answers. The rest were just strongly agree- strongly disagree questions. I called the school and they said it was a legitimate email not spam. The deadline to fill it out is Oct 4th.

Ohhhh yes that’s like the essay part the list three goals and three accomplishments I answered those as if they were essay questions instead of just listing things. All of that is in Nursing Cas and is part of the application, unless they changed it and now there is a separate place to answer those questions. I know when I applied it was all together in Nursing Cas and part of the application

Ohhh okay that makes way more sense because when Johanna called me back she said it was left off of the application and I guess they just now realized it. Super bummer that they forgot that portion and are just now sending it to us with a deadline of 10/04 because now its going to be even longer I think before we find out. ?‍♀️

Yeah I can say that the waiting process was the most stressful part for me. Even though I didn’t have to worry about any deadlines and everything was in, I felt like I couldn’t concentrate on life until I found out lol. Plus I had gotten a denial letter from one of the schools I applied to so I was really stressed to say the least. They might go through the applications for a decision soon after Oct. 4th. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends to help take my mind off the waiting and I feel like that helped me a little bit. Not a lot but a little bit lol. It’s good that you talked to Johanna she is honestly one of the best people you will meet she works with all of the nursing students to make sure we are all successful. She’s like the mentor for all of us.
