Has anyone applied or interested in this school?
It went really well. Here is the break down from my first and second try:
Reading: 80/91
Math: 90/98
A & P: 76/88
Vocab: 88/98
Grammar: 98/96
I don't know how to translate those into points. I understand the G.P.A translation (just multiply by 10) but the example on the website for conversions to points has me confused. The example they gave is 810 points equals 81 points. HOWEVER, it indicates that only 120 points are possible from the HESI, INCLUDING the extra points for the over 90 scores.
What was the average of all of the scores?? It should have given it to you at the end. It looks like to me it would be a 95.75, beacuse they will not calculate the A & P Score.. And you will recieve an additional 5 points for each section over 90 points, so it looks like to me you would have 115.75 Points out of the possible 120 for the HESI!! Thats amazing :) Great improvements!! So you times your PRE-REQ GPA by 10, then add the 115.75 points for the HESI and that should give you an estimation of your points towards admission!! Those scores are fantastic by the way CONGRATS!!
So last Spring the cut off was a 138?? Hmm... maybe this Spring will be a little different!! Here's to Hoping!! Can you retake the HESI before the 20th?? When I took it the second time, I scored much higher than my first attempt. I also used the study guide that HESI makes-- and I think it helped me. Your soo close to 138!!!

I am not sure what points I have, I should look into that! Did you already take the HESI? What did you think? I am also very nervous about he application process. I called the school and asked them what the average acceptance scores were for the Fall of 2010, and she told me 3.62 gpa (Pre-req GPA) AND A 94 HESI score. But she told me for last Spring (2010) that the average accepted was a 3.5 pre-req GPA, and a 93 HESI score. Pretty darn tough eaither way you look at it--at least I thought so! But I am soo nervous too!! She also said that they are admitting 48 students for the Spring! I hope all of us get in!!!
