Taking the NCLEX tomorrow...(gulp)

Published

Hi Everyone!

I've been checking this site pretty much everyday for the past few months in order to keep myself sane through getting through to graduation and now on to take the biggest test of my life....

Writing this helps to collect my thoughts about what I'm going to face tomorrow...I feel as though I'm getting ready to slay a killer dragon or something. Except this particular dragon doesn't breathe fire....it breathes failure. Hopefully I'll be able to cut the head off of that sucker before it gets me.

I've been using Kaplan to review and have been doing sort of okay on the Qbank and Question Trainers....below are my scores...

Qbank: Average of 60% with 100% completed.

QT1: 64%

QT2: 65%

QT3: 47% (Watching TV during that one....ugh....bad move.)

QT4: 59%

QT5: 59%

QT6: 65%

QT7: 68%

What do you guys think? Will the dragon eat me alive?

First off, good luck tomorrow. Believe in yourself and focus on the questions one by one. Stay calm. :D

Hope that you can conquer this "dragon".

you'll do great! believe in yourself - you can do it! i know it's nerve wracking... i face the beast on the 10th! but kaplan prepares you well. all my classmates and i have been doing kaplan - and out of the 10 who have gone so far... all have passed, most with 75 q's! btw, my scores are practically the same as yours:

qt1: 58%

qt2: 49% (very distracted... kids... tv)

qt3: 56%

qt4: 62%

qt5: 62%

qt6: 68%

qt7: 68%

and 70% of the qbank with 63% cumulative average.

i am going to cross my fingers for you, say a little prayer... and wait to see your post saying you passed or got the good pop-up.... ! good luck!

You guys should be more than ready. My scores were all lower than u guys ranging from low 50s and i got a 67 on qtrainer 7 and 64 on readiness. I didn't do the qbank at all since i only had 8 days to cram for nclex. They say aim for 60 and above. I took the test Wednesday and it stopped at 75 questions. I did the pvt trick and got the good popup. The nclex to me was alot easier than kaplan q trainer 6,7 and readiness. Just make sure that u do go over all the rationales for right and wrong answers. Good luck!!

I took mine today as well!!! 75 questions 22 of which were select all that apply! I did the pearson trick and it would not let me re-register:)

Hi Everyone!

I took the test today and the computer shut off at 81 questions...and I'm getting a good pop-up....does that mean the dragon is dead!?!?!?!?!

CONGRATS!!!!! you passed!
