Taking NCLEX PN after first year of ADN program?

Just curious if in Kentucky you can take the LPN boards after your first year of an RN associate's program? I know you can in some states but couldn't find anything about KY. I know that probably means "no" BUT I figured I would ask anyway.

I would ask your school. They would have to send any paperwork, so they would know. I don't believe you can in KY, but I know very little about their laws regarding nursing anymore

In my state you have to take a short course over break for LPN (after first year of RN) and once you do that, school sends your records to state BON and they allow you to then sit for NCLEX-PN. Ex: after first year, during summer break a few classmates took a 6 week course which also had 4 clinicals. Once they finished and passed that, they sat for NCLEX-PN later in the summer and got their licenses before second year of RN classes started.

Basically you have to ask your school how they do it or if they do it. My state allows you to do it, you just have to take a quick course before.
