Taking the NCLEX in January? Stop in here...

Just wondering who's taking the NCLEX in January and what you are doing to study? I graduated this week w/ my AAS in nursing and I'm trying to spend 2 hrs a day studying using ATI, Saunders and a couple other NCLEX books. I'd like to test at the end of Jan. Start my job on Jan 21st.

I test tomorrow at 8 am. There is no point to me studying anymore. I may look through the test taking strategies but that's it. Ahhh, I hate nerves!

Hey Amy!! The torture is over! ha ha!

100-102 questions, I stopped keeping track. I started freaking out after 96 thinking I am really messing up, although I know the number of questions has no bearing. I took the LPN last year and it cut off at the minimum so I started having mind games with myself. TONS of prioritizing, no delegation, no fill in the blank. About 4-5 SATP, some meds, 1 dosage calculation. I told myself I'd just wait and not spend the money for quick results, but after taking it, there is no way I am waiting any longer!!

I graduated with a 3.97 GPA and did not feel confident at all. I will say that all of those practice questions did nothing to help me.

I feel I still can't relax until Thursday!!EEK~!

Tracy I SO understand how you feel! I absolutely did not feel that ANY study guide questions helped at all! I was a nervous MESS for those 48 hours! I kept thinking " How you can you judge my competency when you keep asking me these weird backwards questions!".

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! I know you did it!

well i took mine today too..cut off at 75 ..felt i bombed too..my bon doesn't do the quick results thing so god knows how long i'll have to wait..

i felt i was doing so poorly that when i got to 75 before i clicked i said to myself, don't turn off!!!...click.....blue screen doh!!!!:o
