What I did was on my last week before my scheduled exam, I continued answering questions(around 150 per day) and on the day before the exam, I slowed down. No more answering questions, I just let my mind wander while listening to my favorite music. If I find that "Oh, I forgot what the cranial nerves were" while just lazing around, I'd look it up on the internet. I also focused on my labs the day before my exam. You have to destress before the exam, or you'll be even more intimidated and that might possibly disturb optimal thought processes in your mind when you finally take it.
And pray. It really, REALLY helps.

First of all stop freaking out.. every time I thought about the test I'd think okay calm down you're going to do good this time... you practiced questions and still keep on doing that. You have to make sure that you think everything through. What I did today when I took the test was actually visually the situation happening.. of course that made me take more time on a question but I surely am glad I did what I had to do and therefore it worked out well as for now... anyways good you did the lacharity book because nclex is all about prioritization and delegation..make sure you make mnemonics about infection control cuz honestly that's what saved me today when I took it!!!... learn suffixes on medications like CEF- is the beginning to alot of Cephalosporins and learn main facts about that type of medication and you'll do good for the most part... keep your mind focused because you can do this... and most of all have faith in yourself!

me too! i'll take it this friday... i'm a fresh grad june 2009... had a lot of troubles with my application and of course family issues... i had about 1 month of self review. i read saunders and the medication part of nsna... i answered 75-150 questions per day from saunders, kaplan, some mosby, and nclex 3500.
i know i'll pass... i have to believe it! we'll do great.

Four days prior to the test you should be ready. Either relax and test on Friday, or reschedule, giving yourself enough time to properly prepare.

I agree with dannangelo, you got to relax or you might disturb your thought process. And do pray because it really does help!!:)

Carliotter3 is right. Please relax. You can not go in there with anxiety. You have to remain calm. Go out and do something that you enjoy. You have done a lot of preparation already. Far more than I have done. If you are still not ready then you should postpone taking it until you feel more confident. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT, I DEFINITELY FEEL READY!!
