Taking My NCLEX-RN tomorrow

Wish me luck everybody. I used mostly Kaplan to study and tomorrow at 10:00 Am it is the big day. I will let you all know how it goes. I hope by this time Saturday I can officially call myself an RN.

Well, I finished the test. I had 75 questions. I had 3 or 4 select all that applies. No math questions. A lot were tough, really had to think, then I had 1 or 2 I thought were real easy mixed in the tough ones. Like I had question 29 that was tough, 30 was easy, then 31 was a tough one again. So we will see, I hope I passed. I was expecting worse from the test. I feel fairly confident I passed, not 100% but Im fairly confident.

CONGRATS so do you recommend Kaplan i will be testing soon on 10/10 and keep going back and forth between the kaplan and saunders can you share with us what worked for you (is this your first time)?

Yes it was my first time taking Nclex. I used Kaplan. I used a little of Saunders, but found there question too easy. I found Kaplan question were very similar to the real Nclex.

hi, nclexwarrior, took test this morning also- machine cut off at 75, wasn't really as bad, but some questions were really tough to figure out. had a lot of delegation questions and room assignments and lots of medication, so hopefully by saturday i will see the good news on the board site and hopefully you'll see the same. keep your head up.

Do you mind me asking you what your scores were like? on qbank and question trainer ? i'm averaging 60 on qbank and little lower on the qt.

Yes it was my first time taking Nclex. I used Kaplan. I used a little of Saunders, but found there question too easy. I found Kaplan question were very similar to the real Nclex.

My average Qbank was 72%. Qtrainer low to mid 60's.On Qtrainer 7 I had a 68%, which was my highest and which supposedly gave me a good chance of passing Nclex. So, we will see. I hate the waiting, I am not a patient man lol.

WOW you did really good 72 is really high for kaplan i hear? i have not taken qt 6 or 7 yet. You definitely passed congrats

Good luck nclexwarrior! I hope everything goes well. Let us know if the exam was ridiculous like most people say it is or if it is actually doable.

Good luck to you. I took mine on the 25th and got 205 question. I found out this morning that I passed. So don't panic if you go over 75, just relax and do your best. You will be fine!! :balloons:
