   I will be finished in December. I do live in Nashville. There are jobs out here, as we have our fair share of hospitals and private practices in Middle Tennessee. I will seriously start applying around October/November.

   I attend Vanderbilt and it is a Bridge Program. However, I think that it would be best to get some experience as a nurse first to find out what your interests are. You may think you like one aspect of nursing and find out you have another passion.

   Hi. Just make sure you have the basics down. For instance, Anatomy and Physiology is a must. Pharm is okay, but I would say not to put to much into that because pharm is different in NP school and you may waste your time "getting ahead".

   I agree with TraumaRUS. It does depend on your job market. Some employers may want you to be experieced as a WHNP...and you will have experience, but as an RN. I say get the experience as a nurse first. Crawl before Walking.
