I was so excited to know that once this is done they will except me. Now I am scared to even take it! I have studied my butt off so I am sure I will do fine, as they only want a minimum of 60th percintile. I am a little nervous on actually being excepted, it just means a whole lot of chane in my life. I have experienced change, but nothing of which I will go through once I am in school for the next 2 years. I am only praying I know what I am getting myself into and that I can prove to my family and friends I have the strength to be able to do it. You see I have a 13 month old and currently am working in a salon full time. Well my husband and I discussed that I should go to school full time and work part time (because I have to work) the 2 year program is during the day (which means I can work at the salon on some nights) and the 3 year program is nights and weekends (my boss would never let me work all days) so therefore I will get done sooner, but I will have to push myself more.

THe TEAS is not bad. Just don't get hung up on one problems. Remember they are worth the same. So, if you aren't sire or one is taking a long time, just skip it and go on. Once you have answered all the ones you are sure of, you can go back and work on the harder ones. When you only have about 5 minutes left make sure all buubles are colored, even with a quess. The math is the section that takes the longest and when I took it, there were plenty of ppl that didn't even finish it!
I am a junior in a BSN program now. If you could not work at all, it would be to your benefit. It is challenging to say the least. You can do it if you set your mind to it. You are going to need lots of support with the baby so you can study.
Good luck and make sure to celebrate the small victories!!!

You can do it!! Good Luck and let us know how the test was! The TEAS is the simpler of all of the tests, in my opinion. :)
You will rock it!

The biggest piece of advice I can give on the TEAS is to read the questions very, very carefully, no matter how simple the questions seems.
I noticed when I took it that what you THINK the question is asking for, isn't what it's asking for...if you re-read the question, you'll always catch it. I think it's also designed so that people that pay attention to detail do well.
Good luck!
Thank you everyone for your encouragement and kind words. How long after do you find out what you got? I will update yall on how I did. Please keep me in your thoughts and pray I do well. I have studied the TEAS book over and over and over to the point where I know the information in the quizes to be able to answer them correctly. Math is my strong subject, so I am not worried about that at all. I have always done well with Math, it is the Science that is going to get me. Hopefully I get done with it all in time to. I am not good at dealing with a time limit on my thoughts, but than again if one knows the info down to a T it shouldn't take long to be able to answer the questions right? Today I was so nervous about thinking about the test that I threw up. Some may say I am over reacting, but this is very important for me and my family as it will be my future I am dealing with. I would love to not work and just go to school, but unfortunetly Uncle Sam wants his money too every month so I must work a little bit to help out my husband. I am only going to work about 20 hours a week and with what I do I can study if it is slow. Well all wish me luck as I am heading down the sleep zone land to awake to my future lying in my hands.
You can find out a few days later!
Just log on to atitesting.com and you can pull up your scores!
Good Luck and report back once you're done! We have a bunch of test takers on this board tomorrow!
