Systems to manage as an ADNS/DON

Published

I have been an ADNS for the last 4 months, little training so it has been baptism by fire. I am looking for systems to manage both employees, our charts and be survey ready. Help Help Help. Would greatly appreciate your input.

Don't forget labs and radiology- make sure they are done when ordered and there is no delay; infection control basics

I used audit tools to track a lot of information. I had the supervisors do admission audits within 24 hours so critical things don't get missed like PPD's, Flu and Pneumo vaccines. Unit Managers audited new orders at the end of each day. The building had a lot of survey issues involving delay in treatment and order transcription.

Nascar Nurse you have a good list going...Too bad we couldn't all take that and add...compiling a complete list in the end to share....let's see.....

Antipsychotic Med Reduction

Influenza/Pneumovax Vaccination Program Tracking
