Swedish new grad RN residency march 2020

Hi, I applied to Swedish new grad RN march 2020 cohort. but I hvnt heard for a in person interview yet after submitting video interviews in November 2019. Is there anybody else applied for the march 2020 cohort at Swedish if yes, have you got a call from HR yet for in person interview. please help.

I recently moved from las vegas so dont have much network here to know the timeline.

I just want to say

I’ve been on 2 NICU interviews at 2 different hospitals and no one was as nice and sweet as the managers at St joesph! The NICU is undergoing a lot of renovations so the area is tight but the organization they have going is something I’m proud to now say I’m a part of.

That’s amazing!! I’m excited to go there tomorrow since it’s high on my list! I also interview at Swedish NICU on Thursday, and St. Francis Special Care Nursery on next Tuesday. Was it more of behavioral questions at St Joes?

I got a offer from Valley Medical Center for their emergency department. And another offer I received from Snoqualmie Valley hospital for their med/surg position same day. Have any of you have any insight about valley medical center at Renton. I am sammamish based and was checking the commute - its 1.5 hrs one way for night shifts.

I interviewed for Swedish NICU last week and it was ALL behavior based questions with 6-8 people in a conference room. I also did interview for Tacoma General. Swedish did give me a tour of their unit which was nice. I wasn’t picked for either of those. I did get a call yesterday for St Francis as well but told them I was offered at st joes.

st joes asked about my practicum in the NICU and what my general cases were.

they asked why nicu ?

why st joes ?

what role do you play in a team ?

how do you meet new people?

miscommunication with a teammate or coworker ?

thats all I can remember

thats awesome!! I interviewed at valley in Renton and it’s below Seattle.and I came from Tacoma area and it took me 45 mins

I don’t think it’ll take you 1.5 hours , I think maybe an hour , if stay away from highways

Hi Everyone! I just got an offer for hem/onc, and I was just wondering if anyone has any insight into this unit? Such as work culture, staffing ratios, etc?

I hope your interview went well yesterday! I also interviewed with them but forgot to ask about the timeline of after the interview. Do you know when they might send out looking for references or when they will call back to let us know if we got the job or not? Thanks!
