Swedish new grad RN residency march 2020

Hi, I applied to Swedish new grad RN march 2020 cohort. but I hvnt heard for a in person interview yet after submitting video interviews in November 2019. Is there anybody else applied for the march 2020 cohort at Swedish if yes, have you got a call from HR yet for in person interview. please help.

I recently moved from las vegas so dont have much network here to know the timeline.

Good question! I literally reached out to issaquah because first hill didn’t reach out to me for the NICU but when I called and ask for a manger they apparently transfered to me the first hill campus where I left a message and then the manager called me back

This process seems to all be a mess.. when I first applied and did my online interview, Peds and NICU (my preferred 2) wasn’t even an option and they added 2 days after I did my online interview. Also kinda angry because the recruiter said he would update my app because of that happening, but obviously didn’t. ?

I only got an interview because I called the NICU and the manager called back! The recruiter only reached out to me about peds. I haven’t seen an update on my app

i only interviewed Thursday but I think if I’m not mistaken it was like Dec 5th I finished the video interview and it was a month after I got an email for an interview

Did you get the information for the recruiter at the Issaquah hospital? And did you get the job with NICU?

I never got the recruiter for the issaquah Hospital. I think she’s the recruiter for the whole cohort for the new grads. I did have an interview for the NICU the SAME day I called the manager . She asked me to come and I got there within an hour

Also want to say my original interview was for peds! I’m sorry if this is confusing

I was reached out from recruiter for a peds interview for 1/23/2020 for the first hill campus

i called the nicu manager thinking it was issaquah and left a voicemail and then she called back and said she was from first hill

we talked and I told her my love was nicu instead of peds so she was able to change my interview from peds on the 23rd to Thursday the 9th, I got there within an hour and had a peer interview

they asked me if I wanted to do a telephone interview bc I just moved from Florida and they weren’t sure if I was in the area. Also when they reached out for a scheduled interview they asked if u was flying in so they could make accommodations. I think they are flexible if you get a hold of the manager

I wish you the best luck, I really enjoyed the unit that first hill had. Apparently issaquah isn’t looking for new grads at this moment and the manager for first hill said they are most likely doing another interview day. I interviewed at Tacoma general and it made me realize the competition is really steep for the unit. They had 12+ applicants in interviews that day

Are they not looking for NICU in Issaquah or for all units on Issaquah?

Issaquah : Medical Specialty, Medical Oncology, Postpartum, Surgery, and Telemetry

this is from the post but NICU is only for the first hill campus right now

I was hoping for first hill, and thanks! I wish you all the luck as well! I also applied to multicare as well, but ended up interviewing for peds ED and waiting for peds med/surg to contact me hopefully for their March cohort. I ended up with a rejection from peds ED after interviewing for the second time, but I have been in contact with their nurse manager since the rejection who has been helping me out. I ended up not applying to TG NICU this time because during their Nov cohort they decided to not hire anyone and was scared of that happening again. But definitely don’t give up! I’m rooting for you as well!!
