Swedish new grad RN residency march 2020

Hi, I applied to Swedish new grad RN march 2020 cohort. but I hvnt heard for a in person interview yet after submitting video interviews in November 2019. Is there anybody else applied for the march 2020 cohort at Swedish if yes, have you got a call from HR yet for in person interview. please help. I recently moved from las vegas so dont have much network here to know the timeline.

Congrats on the job in Tacoma! I opted for a studio...so not sure about finding roomies in the area. I have always used Craiglist before. Also I think there are some Seattle/ Tacoma housing FB groups you could browse!

Hey! Yes I do. I'm moving on the 4th so I have some time to get to know the area/get used to driving here.

I appreciate the response! I have been looking around the facebook groups and craiglist but roommates have been hard to find. I'm hoping I can connect with someone else that is going to be in my residency! Luckily I have some time before I have to move up.

Nice! I guess we all start together on the 23rd (regardless of out home departments)! Good call on heading up early to acclimate to the city! Are you planning on living near the hospital? I found a place walkable to the First Hill campus so I could avoid driving since traffic is terrrrible up here!

Yes it would be nice to get to know some folks in your cohort, but you're more than welcome to join any Swedish meet ups! I feel like we are all sort of in it together being transplants in a new city and new grads! : )

Can’t wait to meet you too!! I’m gonna been on Mom-Baby Monday and Wednesday and got done with on boarding! Where are you gonna be?? I’m scared too, but excited to start learning :)

I have classroom and new employee orientation Monday , the second week I’ll be in the NICU on Tuesday and then classroom , the third week I’ll be in postpartum for 2 days and then after that itll just be nicu and classroom ! It’s a lot !
