I Know That Suzannes Plan Is Based Off The Book Of Saunders But All Throughout School I Was Told Not To Study Saunders, Is It Possible To Do Her Plan With A Lippincotts Book And Cd? Or Do You Just Suggest Saunders. I Failed Pn Once Already So Im Having A Hard Time Even Starting To Study... Any Suggestions
I also found that Saunders was an excellent summary of material to study while in school, but for NCLEX, it was overwhelming to say the least. I chose Delmar's for NCLEX-PN.
But, there is nothing wrong with using Saunders if you wish to use Suzanne's plan. Or, you can create a study plan of your own. I do think that whatever material you feel comfortable with, you should basically stick to it, without too many distractions. What I did was listen to Helen Feuer's CDs on my way to work and home, then, read material from Delmar's and used MANY CD ROMs for questions in different styles; which included CD ROMs from Mosby, Incredibly Easy, Saunders, Kaplan and the learning extension. Seeing things in different styles and varying levels of difficulty was helpful to me. Best of luck on your exam!

How long did you study before you felt like you were ready for the test? and how long each day???????
You need to devise a schedule that is rational and workable for you. You must choose the method that you believe will work for you. Those who have advised you to pick at least one resource and stick to that are giving you good advice. You can't go jumping around every day and expect to be organized in what you have learned. Pick one book or method, such as Kaplan's or Saunders with Suzannne's plan and make up a long term schedule. If you want to get other resources, then have certain days on your schedule where you do these. The biggest thing you can do to help yourself is to do questions, questions, questions every day from the various CDs. The more questions you do, along with studying the rationales, the better prepared you will be. Good luck.
i just took my nclex-rn on wednesday and no name up =( i think i failed =( i've been reading a lot on suzanne's plan and willing to put my time and effort to do it. does anyone know how i can get it? PLEASE HELP ME PASS =(
Just because your name is not up does not mean anything, as said in previous post give it a bit longer. If you have failed you need to go to the sticky called New revised first tip and all info is there you need to complete before sending Suzanne a pm. You need to follow exactly as written
Good luck
