Do they admit only once per year? Are there start dates other than in June? If Sac-based grads get preference I guess that generally means grads from Sac State and Samuel Merritt, right? Thank you for the feedback.
On their website, it says they offer it three times per year. Not sure if the start dates always land on the same month or time of the year but it would make sense if they coincided with each graduating semester i.e. May and December. I work as a CNA for SRMC and have not heard anything about preference given to Sac-based grads but it wouldn't surprise me. Most of the schools do preceptorships in the area hospitals so I think it's only fair.
PaulHagerty, don't forget about all the ADN programs in this area such as American River, Sac City, Yuba and even Sierra College as well as all the private colleges like Carrington and Breckinridge.
I've been checking their site everyday and new positions have yet to be posted.

Yes they do give preference to Sac based grads. It's on the website and I called about it. I graduated from Samuel Merritt but from the Oakland campus and I live in Sac but it still doesn't count. They said the position will open the first or second week of Jan. since it begins in Feb. Good luck to everyone!

Sweet. I just finished up at American River College. I shall continue my hawk-like vigilance on their website going in the new year. And yes, good luck to everyone!
