I realize when I had to write my nursing exam how much pressure I experienced about the whole thing. I wrote mine in June 2010 and passed in first attempt but still remember when I walked out the exam, I was not sure what would be the result.
The purpose of this thread is supporting those nursing students who are planning to write their CRNE in upcoming June. Students, please feel free to share your concerns and questions. Nurses please support those students with tips for study.
Just couple of reminders before we get started:
1. Please do not discuss specific questions or any content tested in CRNE.
2. Please read other threads for more information as well. Other threads give you valuable information and be smart and take them into your advantage.
Would the temp license be revoked right away on the website with a fail, assuming that the CNO has the results in the mail already? Or would it take time to update status. I know they said it would be immediately revoked, so if this hasn't happened yet I hope that's a good sign. Does anyone know for sure?
@ lonergan. I was wondering the same thing about the website. I'm pretty sure they update the find a nurse part of the site only a few times a week. I don't know if it would be immediately done. I still think it would be done VERY shortly after the results are in. My concern is that if they don't update the website right away, or they don't inform management and the nurse continues to work with a fail, they technically aren't licenced. So I'm thinking they wouldn't allow that, and they would update the site or tell management right away of fails. Otherwise it's not right for the patients.
Well guys, I was just out sitiing on my favourite rock watching the beavers as the sunset, trying to forget about the lack of results in my mail box today, when an email came through on my phone from the college saying that due to the mail strike they were emailing out results and I HAVE PASSED!!! Yippeee! Of all the scenarios that went through my head of opening the envelope...where I might be, and where I might find out etc that scenario did not cross my mind! Happy days!! So check your emails guys. I am in NS btw..... Good luck to all those that are waiting, am rooting for you all!
I've been stalking the mailbox for days now, and so far nothing. I'm in Vancouver, BC...and I think the mailman/maillady who delievers my mail thinks I'm absolutely demented. This wait is driving me nuts!

okay perfect! i sent them an email but i'm sure it takes forever for them to respond. I hope they really did send them out today!
