I realize when I had to write my nursing exam how much pressure I experienced about the whole thing. I wrote mine in June 2010 and passed in first attempt but still remember when I walked out the exam, I was not sure what would be the result.
The purpose of this thread is supporting those nursing students who are planning to write their CRNE in upcoming June. Students, please feel free to share your concerns and questions. Nurses please support those students with tips for study.
Just couple of reminders before we get started:
1. Please do not discuss specific questions or any content tested in CRNE.
2. Please read other threads for more information as well. Other threads give you valuable information and be smart and take them into your advantage.
Well guys, I was just out sitiing on my favourite rock watching the beavers as the sunset, trying to forget about the lack of results in my mail box today, when an email came through on my phone from the college saying that due to the mail strike they were emailing out results and I HAVE PASSED!!! Yippeee! Of all the scenarios that went through my head of opening the envelope...where I might be, and where I might find out etc that scenario did not cross my mind! Happy days!! So check your emails guys. I am in NS btw..... Good luck to all those that are waiting, am rooting for you all!
I have faith in god and myself that I will pass. Congrats to those who have pass and to those you were not successful don't let this exam question yourself as a nurse, now you know how to study (read ur medsug book and those prep test they sell are useless because the exam is nothing like the CRNE)

For all the ones who are waiting in ONTARIO....A close colleague of mine called the CNO yesterday and they informed her that the results haven't been mailed out as of yet. They told her to wait until next week. I also checked with friends of mine who wrote in June 2010 and they also said they received their official results around July 22nd.
So brace yourselves Ontario....let's enjoy the rest of this week and hope for the best!
CNO sent all the results yesterday. I called them & I received email telling me that results were sent yesterday in response to my email last July 4. Expect your mail today or tomorrow torontonians. Goodluck everyone

You are right....I just got off the phone with them and they said they were mailed out yesterday!! Oh booooy
Is anyone aware when or how often the CNO update their section on information about individual nurses who are registered with the College (under the "Find a nurse" section)? If they are posting out registrations, should that info not be updated sometime soon?
I'm from toronto Ontario and i got the mail today. And thank god its a PASS!!! Congratz to all others who passed and for those of you waiting just hang in there. You'll get it SOON!!!
