I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

I got a call around Wednesday from a 718 number. My status changed on a Tuesday and it took around a week to get it.

Has anyone not heard anything yet? My application says file forwarded to Program fro review? Still no rejection or contact from them. Not sure what’s going on.

crickets on my end, but it still says forwarded to program for review. I'm nervous because I went to the virtual open house and sat in on the Q&A regarding admissions and I did not feel super confident afterwards based on how the selection criteria was explained (don't remember tons of specifics), but who knows. they said they'd gotten a ton of applications already and could only take a cohort of ~90. just trying to remain positive with my less than incredible undergrad GPA over here ?

Anyone receive an acceptance more than a week following an interview? I interviewed last Thursday and haven't heard back. Status is "under program review". Any insight?

Has anyone received anything other than a bland auto-reply email? I'm getting so frustrated with how slow this is going. I applied in November (complete in December), all A's, courses completed, good TEAS, career changer, did all the fairs and info sessions. Ugh. ?

They got back to me on a Saturday night around 2 days after my interview. I'd try to message them

Crickets over here. I had a group interview on the 15th. Still "under program review" according to my application. Wondering if a follow-up e-mail would be appropriate.
