Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

My status says "Office of Student Admissions Evaluator Review." Does anyone else have the same status?

Mine is empty and says screening complete, when did you apply?

I applied the day before the deadline, on the 2nd I believe.

Mine says: "Application Status: Under Program Review"

I am missing two courses (currently taking) and I completed my application in January

Just wondering, are the phone calls all from 347 area code? Or have there been calls from 917 and 718 as well? So many junk callers these days.

My call came from a 718 number

I've been lurking since the fall, but wanted to say I just got my acceptance 2 hours ago! 10 pm on a Sunday night was definitely not when I anticipated hearing from them, but I'm thrilled and relieved and can't wait to start! Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

For those of you with classes in progress- did you just submit proof of enrollment to your document page? Should I send them an unofficial transcript as well, if the class is in progress? I'm wondering if my application is technically on hold because I've only submitted proof of enrollment, and maybe that's why I haven't seen a status change...?

I submitted unofficial transcripts that showed I had two classes in progress! I actually had to pay for an official transcript pdf and upload it because the unofficial transcript my school offered didn’t have all the information they needed on it. So now I have to pay again to have my official transcripts sent over as soon as the semester is over LOL

I uploaded an unofficial transcript, but, as always, follow up with email(s). This was a while back, but not having that transcript had me held up -- it was only after that my status switched to "forwarded to program for review," where it stalled out again until it went to review completed and I got the call.

Guys, is there anyone waiting for a call for more than one week since your status has changed to Screening complete? My status changed on Saturday, April 11th, and I have no news since that day which makes me very nervous ?
