Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

How do you update your TEAS scores? It won't let me enter my scores nor upload my transcript. Or is it automatic since I had them also sent to the school?

Did you add Downstate as a school to receive your transcript? They'll receive the transcript that way. Or possibly uploading it via document upload. But I would email them to make sure

I did! and I also uploaded it on the document upload, but my checklist still says incomplete. I also emailed them the other day they said they would call to discuss it uploading it but they haven't yet (im sure they're busy), so I reached out again today so fingers crossed.

They’re really slow with updating the checklist so just stay on top of them. I think as long as you uploaded it before the deadline at 11:59 PM, you should be okay

They thankfully just emailed me and told me to just upload in the document upload until they receive the results. Thank you for your help too!

I interviewed on Thursday and still no decision... anyone have any insight into this timeline

I interviewed Wednesday and they said we would hear back early this week the latest. Hoping to hear back today ??

Still says screening complete since Tuesday for me... Have not been notified of anything

does anyone know how to get in contact with the nursing department. I tried calling but it doesn't seem like that number is in service
