Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

They called me on Tuesday, my interview was Wednesday, I got my acceptance on Friday.

Do you know anyone that had to wait longer than that for their acceptance after their interview? Getting nervous...

When I emailed them they said remote is fine. I’m in the same boat wondering if I should do a last min test and apply LOL

If it helps I took the TEAS remotely and got results in 5 minutes after it finished! It was easy and I'd try applying if I were you, although I had to register fairly far out like 3-4 weeks into the future since the upcoming slots had been filled. But the process itself was straightforward and results were instant.

Thanks for replying! I had no idea that they extended the deadline for the application and just found out today ? And there aren't anymore time slots for the test so I guess I can't apply in time

I think all the slots for the test are filled for tomorrow, and the deadline for the application is also tomorrow so I pretty much gave up at this point ahhhh

Anyone else's profile just say "screening complete" still? Been a quiet week ever since my status changed Tuesday morning. Hoping that doesn't mean I'm rejected

I had my interview on a Tuesday and found out on Friday. You may find out Friday or Monday it depends how fast they file your decision

You're not the only one; there are a few of us. The time between the change in status and the call seems to vary widely, so I really wouldn't worry.
