Hi, is anyone applied for the SUNY Downstate FNP FALL 2021 program?

Hey Everyone!

Have any FNP accepted students heard any updates on registering for classes, orientation, etc...? I've uploaded and/or sent in my Pre-Metric documents also and they have yet to be updated as "received". I've tried to contact SUNY downstate multiple times with no response. I'm wondering if any one else is having a similar situation.

Hey, I still haven’t received a decision yet since applying in January, with my application still staying it was forwarded to program for review. This is crazy especially for those who have been accepted because you should getting follow up emails about next steps already. I was accepted into another FNP program and even registered for classes while still waiting for their response LOL. SUNY Downstate needs to do better. The communication is horrible.

What she said LOL  haven’t heard anything since applying first week in January, it’s crazy

I just got my preliminary acceptance into the WHNP program! Is there a facebook group for those of us in this program? So excited to start and get to know everyone.

Mine still isn’t updated. It still says forwarded to program for review

Mine was updated as well to screening complete as well. It's a matter of waiting to see what their next response will be.

hello everyone , 

is there any FB group for the whnp DNP prgram?  has anyone register for classes yet?

I’m just in the WHNP program and joined the FNP group on facebook. There’s a few other WHNPs in there, but I definitely think we should start our own group. Do we know how many students total are in the program? 
And no I haven’t registered for classes yet, I’m sure they will email us when it’s time.
