Hi! I applied this past week. I wonder if they’ll extend the application deadline like the year before.
Hey, I hope so too. I'm actually still working on my application. I decided to just try and hope I get in.

Hey! I applied in October and just got an interview date. I was actually wondering how many people get in after the interview vs rejected or if everyone gets an interview. Super nervous!

Hello everyone, I applied as soon as applications opened. I got an interview about 2 months ago and already got a preliminary acceptance. In the process of completing documents.
Congratulations!! How long after the interview did you get an acceptance? Also how was the interview? What kind of questions did they ask?
I want to say it was about 3-4 weeks after the interview that I received my acceptance.
The interview was short and concise. It was 30 minutes and the basic tell me about yourself and why should they choose you. It really was not bad. I had an interview with another school I won't mention and they did it as a group zoom and that was horrible. With Downstate I had a one-to-one interview which reduced anxiety. Just be yourself and you should be fine.

For the essay portion, you did you just type in your response? only 150 characters are allowed LOL

Good luck!

Yes, I did. It’s actually 150 words, not characters...so you have some room! I actually appreciated the shortened personal statement requirement, it was one less thing to stress about.
