SUNY Downstate FNP 2021

Hi, is anyone applied for the SUNY Downstate FNP FALL 2021 program?

Specializes in Med Surg, ICU, ER, Geriatrics, Dialysis.

And they are definitely using COVID as an excuse at this point.(Also considering they are doing this all via there computers and their phones. They don’t even need to be in thy office.) This is downright Disgraceful on them.

Hello everyone, 

I been following this group for a while  now but never commented.  did anybody in here applied for the DNP whnp ? I applied in January 27 and yetserday received an invitation for an inteview. I am super nervous , can anyone help me with some tips?   thanks

I checked my status today and it states "screening complete", I hope that means something. I emailed admissions last week and they informed me that they cannot give me any information because my application is being reviewed by the program.

Did you have an interview for the program? I haven’t seen “screening complete” yet..

No I haven’t received anything. I’m guessing that probably means I didn’t get in. Well we’ll see

Was the status before that “program review”?

Hey! I applied to the DNP WHNP program. I received an invite to interview this week also! My interview is on Monday

Mine had the said the same thing. “Screening complete” and then that next day, I received an email invite for interview. So just hang tight! Good luck!

I don't unfortunately, but I'm hoping the interview goes well for us both! I expect the questions may be similar to the FNP program, maybe an inquiry about our interest in the specialty!
