Thanks Sumiink,
I guess you also submitted at very early time.
I got similar TEAS V score that verbal 88 and math 96, and GPA around 3.7. However I did not do well on the science pre-courses. I got B for both of my AP classes which I had taken during my freshman year. And only an A for the chemstry. I am still taking the microbiology right now. Hope it will not affect a lot.

I'm about to take my last final (tomorrow) for A&P II! I'll be all done with my prereqs then!

Congrats to all who've been accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting--
Gratefully I was accepted--I received the email last week.
My TEAS scores were as follows:
Reading: 97
Math:90
Science: 85
My cumulative GPA was 3.1 and my science GPA (all the prereqs) was a 4.0.
Once again, congrats/good luck to everyone--
any questions please feel free to ask--
We should make a facebook group or something--share resources, textbook exchanges, etc.

Congrats!! I wanted to make a FB group, but I need to add friends to create it. How do we connect? I can't PM here..
For the facebook group, you can add me, Ari Daniels. I saw there were a bunch of others from previous years and it looked like a good idea.
OK, hope I got the right Ari Daniels - I'm ************, if anyone wants to add me on FB, we can get the group started. :)
Facebook group created. Search for "SUNY Downstate Accelerated BSN: 2015-2016 Class"!

For those who were accepted to downstate what type of health care experience do you have? I work full time and have a family so I was trying to do a few hours on Sundays for volunteering but a few hospitals so far want people to do weekday hours. I am also trying to do a cna course so I can be certified. Would that be sufficient if I can't volunteer? I want to apply for summer 2016 . Thanks
I worked in a residence for the developmentally disabled for 2 years, and as an aid in the psych unit of a hospital for 2 years. I don't know how much all that actually weighed in my acceptance, but I would imagine that any healthcare experience is a lot better than none.

Hi Everyone! I applied too! :) The status of my application says "faculty screening 6" does anyone else have that? And I just joined the fb group as well :).
Good luck to us all!!
I think they send them out on a constant basis, from back in November up until the spring.
