Hey Everyone!

I figured I should start a new thread for the upcoming round of decisions. How are you all feeling? What are your backgrounds? Have you applied to other schools? My application is in the review progress, so my fingers are crossed and hopes are high!

Mine still says "File Return to Admissions after Comm. Rev." I hope that's good news for all of you.

Haha i might as well do that @lauren bear. First thing in the morning! As for the file return status, i think it means that they notify admissions of whether you were accepted,wait listed, or rejected. Then Admissions makes the corresponding letter to whatever decision was made and then its sent out. I believe every one will eventually get that status. Personally i would call admissions and annoy them till i get an answer since a decision was made anyway. Best of luck to everyone!

I called admissions, and yes "File Return to Admissions after Comm. Rev." means that they have made a decision, and admissions has to draft the letter. I tried to get it out of the lady but she wasn't having it. She said I should be notified within a week.

Hi Nursing87... Did admission say what the application status represents, whether they are drafting notices of acceptance or any other kind of notices?

Supposedly drafting "letters of response". That's all I could get out of them

I just realized how much junk mails I get!!! Making sure I don't delete email from admissions as well!! Yikes!! Lol.. :-|

Same here Cherryhead, everytime my email dings I have a slight heart attack. Looks like this round may be through snail mail. I just want to know already!

To those that got the acceptance email or to all who have the notification "File Return to Admin..."

Did you guys get an letter/acceptance package in the mail as of yet? And/or did your checklist change?

I read it changed in last years group but mine hasn't as of yet. Im guessing its due to all the glitches of the checklist site

Mine changed to File Return to Admin after Committee review also, but I did not get an acceptance or rejection letter as of yet...

Someone asked before whether emails go out for wait-listings and rejections; I was just told over the phone that they only send out snail mail letters for those. :/ I'm now very nervous why all of us are waiting up to a week for a response. Has anyone heard any more information? Like, have they accepted everyone in the first round?
