Those of you that got called - did you already have all your transcripts and bloodwork in?

I got alternate paperwork this afternoon too.

Well, I noticed that something was added as not being received to my checklist today. I was concerned so I called the admissions office. Still being told the same thing - that I should hear "soon" and they could let us know up until the day before the program starts.

@annapt Thank you for the response! I guess because of their move everything is different than last year.

@syrezi I am actually not sure. On the thread form last year people kept referring to a background check on the list. I have the citizenship thing but nothing about a background check. Can someone who has been accepted do us a favor and clarify if you have a link to deposit and if there is an additional part about background check?? THANK YOU!

@Draf77 My information about the deposit link comes from last years message thread. Those who were accepted said that they had a link on their list for deposit as well as background check.

Personally, I do not believe that. They have been giving all kinds of time frames and information to people that have been inaccurate.

It does list all of that. However, I think it means waitlist because there is no link to click on. According the last year's msg boards, the people that were accepted had a link to those sections.

Mine changed too. I have the "Accepted/Alternate List Accelerated Nursing Checklist" and a health checklist.

Also, she said that they can give responses - acceptance or rejection up until the day before the program. That makes no sense. I understand being pulled from the waitlist the day before but no intial response until the day before?!

Well I just called again and the woman in admissions INSISTED that even if you give your name when inquiring it is impossible for them to give a time frame of when you might get a decision. I asked if that meant that the time frames given to people are inaccurate and she said yes. Those of you that have called and been told "this week" or "next week" - did you call the main admissions line??

So tired of waiting...I would just like to know already. Even a rejection would be okay at this point because then I wouldn't be waiting anymore. How are you supposed to plan other options when this takes so long? Just out of curiosity, have any of you turned down other schools because you are still waiting to hear from downstate?

Ugh me too...I just want ANY response at this point!
