Hey Everyone!

I figured I should start a new thread for the upcoming round of decisions. How are you all feeling? What are your backgrounds? Have you applied to other schools? My application is in the review progress, so my fingers are crossed and hopes are high!

  • Just had a quick question: On the site that I submitted my application, under my status "Faculty Screener7" it lists both my recommendations and transcripts being received. Under "Other supporting Documents" it only lists my resume being received. Is this what you all have as well? Or does it list your TEAS or other docs? I'm just worried that there are things missing but they didn't get a chance to email me asking for the missing things yet.

Hi syzrezi... mine is the same way.. the only things listed are the ones you've mentioned... also when I view my application, and on the status dashboard as well, there are other documents that I've sent that were not included, like my phlebotomy & EKG certifications and my final revision of the excel grid and up to date transcript.

Hi Syrezi, thanks for responding to my previous posting. I sent them the description of the sociology clep test and they told me that its not acceptable because it also shows history in the descriptions while they strictly want a course under social sciences..........mind you with all this my suny application shows that review is complete. I hate the fact that I may end up spending $1300 to take this course.......mind you I havea gazzilion courses that could substitute for it. Before I pay tuition for this course, I will call for the final answer. I will keep you posted.

Hey all!

I am just joining the thread and I want to share my status: it says "Submitted" and "Faculty Application Review Completed". Has anyone received something further than that? Does anyone know what the last step say before receiving a notice?

And is any applying for scholarships?

Syzrezi, my application is under "Faculty Screener5" currently with my references, transcripts, and resume listed as complete (nothing else is listed). So curious what's next! If they need anything from you, they will definitely email. They emailed me for a clearer copy of my transcript. Good luck to us all!

Hey everyone, just found out my application was sent to the committee. Apparently it was sent last monday and I only got an email yesterday about it after nagging the department couple times. My app says "application sent to committee" lists the recommendations complete, the official transcripts received, and under "other supporting documents" it just lists my resume. The other documents I sent were not listed. For anyone with faculty screener as their status, was your pre-req grid listed as well?

@cf415 will i be able to take pharmacology at kbcc as well or only pathophysiology.

I am not sure abt pharmacology... but I suggest to request permission for either of it in person. They normally do not entertain any request made via email or phone call.

Btw where are you guys getting the document updates? The spelunker page has never worked for me.

@Vincent_: mine only lists transcripts, rec's, and under supporting docs, it lists my resume.

@futureRN2k: the spelunker is the site that i think they are experiencing technical difficulties. they suggested that we only refer to the page we submitted our apps. on this page under your status will list whatever docs they have for you. but for some reason, it doesnt seem to be listing things other than rec's, transcripts and resume.

My application finally changed to "Sent to Committee" yay! I was getting scared because admission is on a space available basis and I know some of you have "faculty review completed" or "facultyscreener" so I was beginning to worry spots are filling up. I am patiently waiting for when it will change to "facultyscreener" so I know it is actually being reviewed. Good luck everyone. I assume acceptances will begin going out in early march.
