SUNY Downstate ABSN 2022-2023

Hi! I'm starting a thread for those of us who are applying to SUNY Downstate for the accelerated nursing program (ABSN) that begins next year, fall 2022. The cycle just opened today, so a thread is in order.

Good luck everybody! P.S. I'm going to post my stats and TEAS test scores below to get this started and hopefully we can compare notes as things get closer to being in review/interviews begin. ?

Hi! Has anyone had an interview yet? Was it difficult? I have one this week and am trying to prepare for the types of questions they might ask.

can anybody chime in on the type of questions they ask?

I am assuming/preparing for all the generic interview questions. Was really wondering if they throw any curveballs (one interview I was asked What my spirit animal was and I was stumped I couldn’t improvise)

im looking into applying to the program but I can't find the course schedule if you are accepted. Since you are already enrolled can you please share what the class schedules are like? I'm working full time and trying to figure things out.

Hi! I know it's been a long time but I am an incoming student and was wondering what the class schedules are like, too. I am working full time and trying to figure my schedule and living situation out! Thanks in advance.
