  1. Yall I got in! :))))
  2. I got an email today with my acceptance! ?
  3. It was definitely helpful! I think im a little less nervous about it now. Thank you for talking about it!
  4. Congratulations!! How soon after the interview did you get your acceptance? And how was it? Hoping I can be in that fb group soon!
  5. You know I’m actually not sure! I wasn’t paying attention to the status change and I actually don’t have any changes to my status on the application so I’m not sure what others are talking about. I wouldn’t worry too much if you haven’t gotten a call yet though! I applied pretty early (early December) and I know they’re doing it by first come first serve Congratulations!! If you don’t mind me asking, how was the interview?
  6. I got a call for my interview this morning! Mine is next Tuesday. Those of yall who have already completed your interview or are going to, please lemme know what Dr. Mchugh asked and how it went! Im super nervous and would appreciate anything to help me prepare
  7. I called and they said that we should be receiving the fin aid details by email. Also keep an eye out for the open house event info!
  8. Hey yall I got accepted to the program!! If you have any questions feel free to reach out ?
  9. My professor ran into trouble too. She forwarded me the confirmation email she got from them after sending it in, so I do believe they're accepting recs via email. You can ask your rec for the confirmation email too if you wanna be sure
  10. Honestly I'm super stressed out about this, more than Columbia where I also applied. I actually think my chances are lower for Downstate :( . Does anyone know any alumni of the accelerated program, as well as the stats of the people they typically accept? Personally: My pre req GPA is 3.7, and overall GPA 3.6, but my science GPA is brought down by a C in chem to 3.46 due to circumstances which I talk about in my personal statement. Other grades are AP1 B AP2 A Micro A-. I just get a feeling that they're very numbers-oriented, especially since compared to the other schools I've applied to there's not much room to show other parts of myself in the essays. My recommendation letters are pretty strong though so I'm counting on that, but I really hope my GPA doesn't pull me out of the game. TEAS I'm taking tomorrow! If anyone has any info on what their admissions board is like, it'd be greatly appreciated!
