People from church didn't show up for the bird walk, so I went off bird watching on my own and got some good photos.  Ran and errand or two and had lunch with dad.  Exercised an made red pepper hummus again, this time it turned out better.  Began watching the opera The Abduction from the Seraglio, but got bored so switched to Svengoolie

Today will do cooking before church, then will get to church early to help with the ushering.  Nothing really planned for after church, might look into body shops to get a scratch repaired on my car.  And check out some more dating apps and sites.  Might ride my bike too

Will be quite a bit warmer today, in the low 80s

Good Morning, and Happy Mother's Day to the Moms of Kids and Fur Babies....

I slept for____ (bad word)____ last night, maybe 3 hours or so. And I think there was a kind of nightmare when I did sleep. Yech! Now I have to finish my coffee and go get Nannie up. We are due to go over to the in-law's house for a one o'clock lunch, which will be take-out from a fish-camp.

No time to waste, gotta get going. Prolly will come back here later on ....

Good morning, and happy Mothers Day for those who celebrate. We got home very late last night (MN) and yet I woke up at 6 am. I rode my bike to and from breakfast, and once I got past the usual aches and stiffness, it felt pretty good. The last 2 days have been up to 80. Today is cooler, but it seems that I need to switch to lighter weight cycling clothes. I got a mailed notice from dh's insurance that his policy was cancelled at the end of March. This probably because I had to change my bank card and didn't update the payment info. Grrr. I will call customer service in morning. He may need to post pone some appointments until I get this fixed. 

The baseball game very hot at the beginning, until the sun sank below the edge of the stadium. The team didn't play well, so that was disappointing. dh is a baseball nut, and he was vocal about the mistakes that were made. I had a good time, enjoyed some ballpark nachos and a beer. We stopped at Applebees on the way home, because it was so late. Their food is predictably mediocre, but we were so hungry. 

Today, younger son and I plan to go on a short walk, and dh and I will go see his mum. Maybe I'll take some flowers to the cemetery for my mom.

Mom will get my flowers tomorrow as they had no availability for today.   Not the first time I've been late.
