How many of you out there are taking A&P this summer? Lets work together to "ace" the course.
I Just purchased the Barron's Anatomy flashcards from borders...they look good...has anyone used these. I was in there for half an hour debating whether to get those or the Kaplan medical flashcards...any one use those?
I also purchased these because on this site highley recommended them. I have used them yet but I am hoping they will be helpful. I also ordered mine from borders.
Ugh I'm seeing all of you guys saying you have classes say from.. 6-9 or 5-8 and I'm stuck in class from 5:45-10:15!
What class is that? A&P I or II? And that's 4 times a week? Every day?
My Chem class summer session 2 will be like that..but only on Monday and Wednesdays. That's when I have lab and lecture on the same day. Tuesday and Thursday will just be lecture..
Mine is lecture Monday and Wednesday evenings, and then lab on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. It is for A&P I June 1 - July 2, and A&P II from July 5 - August 5
So you have lecture for 4.5 hours on MW and lab for 4.5 hours on TTh. That's crazy. And it's only for 4 credits? Thank goodness I'm not at your school!
I'm in A&P II now..just started last night..Lab is MW from 5:30 - 8:30 and Lecture is TTh, same time.
So you have lecture for 4.5 hours on MW and lab for 4.5 hours on TTh. That's crazy. And it's only for 4 credits? Thank goodness I'm not at your school!
Lovelymo79,
Keep in mind this is an accelerated course in the Summer - hence the name of the thread Most A&P classes are only 4 credits.
All summer A&P courses are accelerated and are short in time span (4-6 weeks usually) and longer throughout the week (meets 4 days a week for atleast 4-5 hours)
My A&P1 class is from June1-July2 and I'll be in class M,T,W,Th from 6:00-9:45p.

Hi fellow A&P buddies!
This is my first post, but I have been a long time lurker. I am currently a NCMA, but am starting school back to become a RN. I'm taking A&P and Chem classes starting Monday. I work full time in L&D, mother of 5 kids...6 counting DH :)
My days for school will be Mon and Wed after work I will head straight to school from 5:30-8:45 for A&P. I'm taking my Chem class online. I've never taken Chem before and am really nervous about this class. I've taken both A&P classes for my MA degree, but they weren't accepted. I got A's in both and I hope my brain has retained the info :) I look forward to enjoying this venture with all of you :)
