Hey yall! What's your schedule for summer 2010? Mine is divided into two 7 week sessions.
Summer 1:
M,T,W,R- 11:00-12:30 General Chemistry
M, W- 12:45-3:45 General Chemistry Lab
M, W- 5:30-8:30 General Biology (I already took the lab)
Fridays I will be volunteering from 8-12 at our local NICU
Summer 2:
Childrens Literature -online (humanities credit)
T,R, - 5:30-8:30 Diet/Nutrition
Ohh and I will be looking for a full time job starting then.
My school does three annual terms: fall, winter and spring/summer. They run Sept-Dec, Jan-Apr, May-Aug.
It's just two classes, 8 credits total. In the fall I have Chem and a couple filler classes: One ENGL and a basic PSYC. Then in the winter I will have Patho, Stats and a class on Diversity.
So, I'm kind of spreading them out.
Unless I am accepted, then all bets are off because in addition to these in the fall I will be beginning NURS classes as well.
I don't know yet and won't know until June! I will either be very happy and starting in a nursing program, or I will be very nervous awaiting the selections of another program. Either way, I will definitely be taking Microbiology this summer, but the other classes are up in the air right now.
It looks like I am taking Chem lab M W F 8a-9:40a Chem lec M W F 10a-12:45p and Math requirement T TH 10:30a-1:30p. Definitely not looking forward to Chem. I took it in high school but our school requires that it be taken within 5 years of admittance to the program and right now the last time I took chem was almost 8 years ago. Looks like there are some other people doing Chem so I'm sure we can all help each other through it!
For me, AP2 and lab the first 5 weeks of summer session, starting at 7:30 am everyday (M-F) till 10:30am, and then Micro in the 2nd summer session with lab, same days and hours.
I am not looking forward to starting class so early in the morning, but my rationale is I will have the rest of the day, evening and night to study.....from what everyone says, its brutal!!
