Summer 2010 Schedule?

Published

Hey yall! What's your schedule for summer 2010? Mine is divided into two 7 week sessions.

Summer 1:

M,T,W,R- 11:00-12:30 General Chemistry

M, W- 12:45-3:45 General Chemistry Lab

M, W- 5:30-8:30 General Biology (I already took the lab)

Fridays I will be volunteering from 8-12 at our local NICU

Summer 2:

Childrens Literature -online (humanities credit)

T,R, - 5:30-8:30 Diet/Nutrition

Ohh and I will be looking for a full time job starting then.

I'm just taking A&P II online...so my schedule will revolve around when I work (provided that I find a job).

Specializes in ICU.

I'm taking Organic Chem M, T, W, Th 8:30a-11:30a for 8 weeks, and online comp II and online statistics. Kind of a lame summer for school. :(

Oh, and working 50 or 60 hours/week. :D

Oh yay, someone crazy like me! :)

Tara - I would lose it if I had to take Chem for nearly 5 hours straight! That is not my subject. You're a trooper!

I also work FT and volunteer in an ER. The volunteering is going to have to go on a summer hiatus, that's for sure. I will be taking:

A&P2 + lab

Micro + lab

Death & Dying

Contemporary Healthcare Issues

The lectures will be online with evening labs on-campus. We have 3 sessions - one throughout the summer, 1st 7 weeks, 2nd 7 weeks. My classes are a mix of all 3! I'm not looking forward to the 5 week stretch where both labs overlap and I'll be in a night class 10+hrs/week instead of sleeeeeeeping. I do love my sleep.

We can do this, right? :specs:

Well....I can't register just yet, but the schedule is out. I plan to take Microbiology and Nutrition this summer. :) I hope I can get in to both!!

Specializes in TCU, Post-surgical, Infection Prevention.

Whooohoooo. I got micro, physiology, intermediate algebra and contemplating an online nutrition. That's the last of my sciences! Then in the fall I just need stats and your general cheeseball classes - poli sc.

I'm going to have science with back to back labs from 2-9pm. Oh well my parents neither made a wuss or a punk, so I'm looking forward to the challenge!

Good luck everyone!

Registration opened for summer and fall classes online at my school at midnight April 19th, and I was on there at 12:01 a.m. to sign up! Feels good to have an official schedule.

This summer:

English 101 online for 8 weeks

Spanish 101 online for 8 weeks

Pottery M & W 5-9 pm for 5 weeks

Yep, we are required to take an art class.

This fall I will be in Spanish 102 and Microbiology. I don't actually need another Spanish class but I am going to try and take all that my school offers as I think it will be helpful in my area.

Specializes in Psych, Hospice, Surgical unit, L&D/Postpartum.

Hi, I have micro m,t,w,th nites. Lab is on t,th. I volunteer on tues in same day surgical unit. I work per diem in a hospital. I will take stats in sept.

Work full-time during the day and then

Mon 6-9pm Bio Lecture

Thurs 6-9pm Bio Lab

Online - Lifespan

I think the fall will bring Chem and College Algebra....we'll see!

Good Luck Summer Students! :)

:) JK

So looks to me that for th most part everyone's summer isn't to crazy. Well blessings on everyone.

These summer classes in the summer are going to be hard, but we can do it! :)

hahaha, me too; except mine was noon on the 19th. In fact, i tried to register the weekend prior - with error messages.

That's a positive spin on having to take the art class; I might try to find one like that for the Fall. I figured by going all the way through Spanish 4 (in Span 2 now), I would have met all the requirements for "humanities". lol Oh well, although I do need up to that point for my Spanish/Health Science AA (prior to nursing school).

Good luck everyone!:yeah:

I have my last math class to take, a refresher chem course, and advanced composition...10 credits. Should make for a fun summer haha
