Summer 2021 ATL Nurse Residency Programs

Hey, 

I just wanted to create a thread so we can share where we are applying and if/when we hear anything back. I applied to WellStar with my first choice being the ATL campus and ED. I plan to apply to Grady and Piedmont when their application opens in the next few months. Any one else start applying?

I applied to Piedmont, Northside, Grady, and Wellstar. With Wellstar and Grady being my top options!

Someone in my cohort received her interview sign-up link today from Emory and already scheduled her 2 interviews. Did anyone else get to sign up early? or know why some people get early access?

Yes, I signed up today. I don’t know why some got it early. I thought everyone received it at the same time.

That is so odd that they sent the links out on two separate days! I would think there has to be a reason for it since everyone who gets the link on Thursday would be at such a disadvantage. But I have no idea how they would pick and choose ☹️

I completely agree. A part of me feels like they may be running two different interview days, to avoid that issue

I went back to last year's thread and they had a similar issue. When applicants got the link and went to sign up most of the units interviews were taken. ??We’re all able to get a spot in the specific units we want.

I just received my link and none of the units I really wanted had any slots available? I am going to do a Med-surg interview but I’m still hoping I can get into Labor and Delivery or NICU
