Summer 2021 ATL Nurse Residency Programs

Hey, 

I just wanted to create a thread so we can share where we are applying and if/when we hear anything back. I applied to WellStar with my first choice being the ATL campus and ED. I plan to apply to Grady and Piedmont when their application opens in the next few months. Any one else start applying? 

Same! I got the link at 12:03 and all of the women services ones were full :/. I did join the waitlist though!

I definitely joined the waitlist but I’m a little disappointed

Yes, I understand! Especially since the links were sent on different days BUT I know God is leading the way so I'm hopeful that the opportunity perfect for me (all of us)  will reveal itself! We got this!

I wasn't able to sign up for L&D, NICU, or Mother/Baby. I choose not to sign up for the waitlist. Hopefully you guys get pulled from the waitlist for an interview.

Signing up for Emory definitely sucked today, but God has a plan for all of us.

 

For those who applied to Wellstar, did you already fill out  the Skills survey references? or does that come with the interview link?

I’ve only completed the Gallup assessment.

Has anyone heard from Northside or WellStar (besides doing the Gallup assessment)? The wait is killing me!

I heard from Wellstar on February 2nd about doing an interview in March and I just heard from Northside yesterday about getting a phone call and setting up a panel interview. I think with Northside the recruits reach out at different times depending on what units they recruit for. I wanted High Risk Perinatal so that is the acute care recruiter, her name is Marina.

I heard from WellStar and was invited to their hiring event but that’s about it. I think Northside is beginning to call applicants soon
