Summer 2021 ATL Nurse Residency Programs

Hey, 

I just wanted to create a thread so we can share where we are applying and if/when we hear anything back. I applied to WellStar with my first choice being the ATL campus and ED. I plan to apply to Grady and Piedmont when their application opens in the next few months. Any one else start applying?

I applied for OR/surgical so maybe that’s why I haven’t heard much as it’s not their top priority.

I hope so, because I applied January 20th and spoke with the recruiter before I applied and haven’t heard anything back yet.

I'm internal at Northside and I asked my HR rep and she said that recruiters should start reaching out within the next couple weeks if they haven't already so I don't think there's any reason to worry if anyone hasn't heard back yet.

I still haven't heard from northside but I've had a phone screen with Piedmont. They asked the same questions as earlier in this forum (thanks for the heads up!:))

IDK if this is allowed, but does anyone know the residency general base pay is for atl/suburban hospitals like Northside, Piedmont, Emory, Wellstar, etc.? I just want to have a general idea while we're preparing for interviews and such! ?

Wellstar & Piedmont- Unsure. 

Northside $27

Did anyone get another email to sign up for interviews with Emory? I got one today to sign up for three slots but they are all still filled up.
