Summer 2021 ATL Nurse Residency Programs

Published

Hey,

I just wanted to create a thread so we can share where we are applying and if/when we hear anything back. I applied to WellStar with my first choice being the ATL campus and ED. I plan to apply to Grady and Piedmont when their application opens in the next few months. Any one else start applying?

Hi guys! Super late to finding this thread. I currently have an interview with emory tomorrow and am waiting for Northside. I am internal at Northside and know that they will be giving phone calls out within the next 3 weeks. The waiting is MADDENING! I feel like Northside is extremely behind considering how big of a system they are....I'm worried I will receive an offer from somewhere else before I even have the chance to interview at Northside. This whole process is super nerve-wracking.

It is very nerve-wracking!! I interviewed for the job I work at and received an offer but I am not sure that I actually want to stay there. I haven't had an interview anywhere else and my next interview is not until March 20th at the Wellstar Expo.

I have an interview with Emory tomorrow as well and I am also waiting to hear back from Northside. I am an internal as Northside too. I was told by several recent new grads that Northside takes a long time to start their hiring process. I am worried as well that I may receive an offer from somewhere else before hearing back from Northside. I wish all of the hospital systems conducted interviews around the same time, it would make things so much easier.

Does anyone know if Piedmont Atlanta has specialty pay? Also do you know what base pay is?

Is there anyone who is interviewing for Emory tomorrow and has not received both interview links? I only got 1 of the 2 that I am interviewing for I emailed Jessica Alvarez, early this morning, to let her know but she has yet to reply.

I originally was scheduled for the ED at Saint Joseph's but my interview link is for emory university....I feel the whole process is very unorganized

What unit/location? Do you have any tips or just anything to expect?

Mine is in a couple hours! I'm so nervous I'm literally shaking haha.

I hope everything went well!

Just finished my interview a few hours ago! Good luck you guys.

Also, Northside will be starting interviews within 2-4 weeks.

I just had mine with the MICU at EUH, it went super well and the unit director made me feel so comfortable and relaxed!
