Summer 2021 ATL Nurse Residency Programs

Hey, 

I just wanted to create a thread so we can share where we are applying and if/when we hear anything back. I applied to WellStar with my first choice being the ATL campus and ED. I plan to apply to Grady and Piedmont when their application opens in the next few months. Any one else start applying?

Hello!

I've applied to Emory Summer 2021 residency program a few weeks ago when they first opened up their application. I'm planning on applying to Piedmont and Northside residency programs as well when they open up. My desired unit is L&D but I'm willing to accept mother and baby. I'm an out-of-state applicant from California. It's extremely competitive here to land a job in a nurse residency program so in keeping my options open.

I applied to Emory and Northside Atlanta and plan to apply to WellStar, Piedmont, and other Northside locations.

Has anyones application status change for Emory? Mine changed from submission received to under consideration.

No, mine hasn't changed but I applied on the 14th.

Oh okay I applied in December went the application opened and they updated my application status on Jan. 13th.

I have applied to WellStar and Northside so far and I am waiting for Grady’s application to open. I am trying for ED and psych as a last resort! Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we will start hearing stuff in the next month or so!
