I will be taking the NLN RN Pre-Entrance exam on the first quarter of next year. I bought the book from the NLN (2009 Edition, "they really need to update this material".) and plan to use it for studying for the exam. Is been hard finding posts in AN that reference to this exam, and would like to ask for your help in any tips or suggestions in taking this exam. Also if you already took it, what was it like?
Thank you,
Anybody?

I take it end of jan and I've been skimming some online material. My friend who took it passed and got in said it wasn't too bad and that she did t study much . I'm going to an info session tomorrow at the college applying for, I'm going to photocopy some pages from the nln study guide at the library.
She got into the program without studying an I always had better grades in all our pre requisites. So I'm trying to keep calm and review
110 was her score holyoke cc

Hi Hibbzem17,
I'm preparing to take the PAX in april is there any advices that you could give? I've already purchased the red book published by the NLN. I'm super nervous about the exam. Which part did you think was the most challenging? Thanks in advance!

Math the was challenging for me because I suck at it ! But it's very basic stuff. Know some periodic table facts and physics laws. Try not to get hung up on a question. If you are stumped choose an answer and move on. The test goes by fast and it's easy to run out of time( I did on math)
