Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...

So who is willing to post what they've scored?

Here's mine:

A&P 1: A

A&P 2: B+

Eng 1: A

Eng 2: B+

Micro: ___

Psych: A

Stats: C- (blah!)

TEAS: 78

Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.

So what are you holding???

I haven't but was going to and the advisor I spoke to strongly advised me not to take it over the summer. She said it's an extremely difficult class to complete in 8 weeks.

Taking micro now, would DEF NOT recommend taking it over the summer. I'm pretty sure you will have lecture and lab Monday thru Friday. There are so many bacterium, Protists, algae, and helminths that you have to remember. I'm 100% positive that it will make your head spin.

Yea the thought of it is daunting but taking it while in nursing school might be worse. I'm going to be working full time as well. We ll see maybe ill be a zombie in the summer. I also have to take chemistry at some point along the way depending if I get chosen for the bridge program.

Well if you think that would be the better idea, then do it. If you have faith in yourself, and dedicate your time to it then you will be fine. I'm doing chemistry and micro this semester along with 3 other classes, and working on top of it. I'm loosing my mind and ripping my hair out, but so far I have A's all around.

71.5. has any one heard from the NursingFirst program yet?

I got a 73 or 73.5 don't remember. I haven't heard anything yet should be soon though.

Is the rubric score written down anywhere? I worked out mine myself based on TEAS and grades. I am assuming my calculations are correct but would like to see it official.

No, I think you just calculate it using the rubric on the website
