Suffolk Community College Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

anyone out there applying for the fall 2018 program at Suffolk?

Hey all!

I just created this FB Group: SCCC Nursing Class of 2020

If you search for it and request a join, I'll add you!

Sweet! Is this for Ammerman?

Yes indeed! :)

Awesome, thank you for setting up ! I just sent my request :)

Hey all, I was accepted into the Grant day program, and made my deposit last week. Is registering the next step?

Hey yall, I'm still holding out for another school but I ended up caving and made my deposit. I was wondering, have any of you received the notice we're supposed to get for our orientation date so that we may begin registering for classes? Also @BrokenFood, I don't think we're able to do anything with registration until we attend the required orientation. I usually need about 3-4 weeks in advance to get off from work, so I'm hoping it gets sent soon...

I haven't heard anything but they will probably send it out once they finalize the acceptances/denials I'm guessing. Hopefully soon since the date to put your deposit passed and they can finish sending out the acceptance letters

So weird I applied for Ammerman day as my first choice and Grant second. I was able to score an 80 on the teas, and I have most of my classes done already. All I have to take is the nursing classes, and I live right behind Ammerman! I did get the invite for SB though. Anyone in the same boat?

Wait, you got something from Stony Brook since your interview? Or you mean you got invited to interview? I'm currently waiting on Stony Brook to follow up post-interview lol

No its from suffolk, for the bridge program, not stony brook itself. If you applied there separately, that is a different thing all together.

I should clarify that one more step.... it is an invitation to the information seminar on April 6, not an acceptance, just an interest to be considered.

Are you saying that you didn't receive your acceptance letter but you did get the SB bridge program invite ?

Lol sorry I spent the majority of the day writing a midterm paper yesterday and I was very tired when I posted... I got accepted to grant but ammerman was my first choice bc I live right behind it... just wanted to know if it happened to anyone else? Not sure if it was bc I was done with a my other classes if it played a factor.
