  1. I am so beyond nervous. The whole time I was taking the test I felt like I was between two answers and just guessing. I didn’t feel 100% confident on hardly anything. I did not expect the test to shut off at 60, I honestly expected to get more questions. Now I’m feeling like maybe I failed. I didn’t have that many SATA.. maybe 10-12? Where as my other friends who have passed have had upwards of 20-30...However the main reason I think I could’ve failed is bc I also had a math question toward the end of my exam. It was a multi step math problem, but I’m wondering if this is a bad sign because the math questions are typically not considered high difficulty level. I’m upset because I was a 4.0 student in school, I usually don’t struggle too badly with tests however sometimes I do get in my own head. I used UWorld to study, was in the 86th percentile and got very high chances of passing on both of my assessments. ATI Comp predictor gave me a 99% chance of passing. What do you guys think? Is having the math question at the end and very few SATA a pretty bad sign for me? I am so so so anxious. I haven’t done the Pearson VUE trick yet because I am so scared. Would appreciate any advice because I’m losing my mind ? Should I try the trick? Is it accurate?
  2. Hi! My experience has been absolutely amazing. I came into the program with no prior healthcare experience or knowledge, and have learned an unbelievable amount in my two years! The professors are great, and want you to succeed. The workload is not easy by any means but it is so worth it and makes you a better student. My clinical experience has also been phenomenal! There are always opportunities to perform skills and assessments, and you learn a lot from not only your clinical instructor but the nurses on the floor. Each semester, you’ll find yourself more comfortable in clinical and performing more skills. You will be able to choose your clinical site. When you register for classes, you will be able to choose any section that you want/that fits your schedule, and each section will have a different hospital assigned to it. Stony Brook clinicals are available but usually fill up first, so you have to act quickly as soon as registration opens! Clinical is one day per week, and hours depend on the course. Fundamentals was 8-2 I believe, mental health was 8-5:45, and my current semester (Med Surg 2) is 7am-4pm. I hope this was helpful and let me know if you have any more questions ?
