Anyone studying for their boards ?

Diana, i received your email but it won't let me email you back till I have at least 15 posts. I used Kaplan on my first attempt. Virtual ati with the coach on my second attempt. I scored a 92% chance that I would pass and still fail. This time around I am going back to Kaplan. What do you suggest?

I'll take mine on March 9 (2nd try, I failed last 2010). Schedule before you review intensely. It's better to have a target date than not - as if you're studying for nothing. I'm also using Saunders 5th ed. and LaCharity PDA - almost done with them. After that I'll review Kaplan Strategies again and will answer CD questions plus the Exam Cram, Nclex-3500 and 4000. Good luck to everyone testing! We can do this! Practice lots of answering questions and have Faith! God bless us all!

Goodluck and GODbless on your exam! im using the same materials as yours. i just bought Saunder and kaplan books online. and it will be my second attempt this 2012, but havent scheduled it though. Im waiting for my eligibility.Nice to know that i have a kababayan here! can you update me on your exam this March. thank you!! :))GODbless and goodluck again!

Wow but we're also Schoolmates then!! :) I graduated last 2008 anyway. Oh I see. I now got it. :) Just wait patiently and while waiting you can start planning for your study plan aka NCLEX revenge lol :D. Unsolicited advice, reassess your previous study plan, and take whatever you think had helped you, and add whatever you think will really help you, you will be the only one who can really know yourself, right? anyone that will take their nursing board exam this month or march? and any tips from those who already passed their exam? i am so nervous right now..

Took my NCLEX-RN last week, cut off with 75 questions. No matter how many questions you get, you will walk out of there feeling like you failed! Focus on Select All That Apply, prioritizing, delegation and infection control. Know your basic med calculations, drug classes/actions and PRAY!!!!

Here are some hints I learned: For the SATA; treat each answer as if it is a true/false question. If it is true for the question, select that answer. For prioritizing refer to your ABC's and Maslows. For Delegation, do not delegate what you can EAT (Evaluate, Assess, Teach).

Hope this helps. BTW, I passed that bad boy and am officially an RN!!!! :w00t:
