How do you position a patient for a postop lobectomy and pneumoectomy?
A pt with lobectomy should be placed in position of comfort -- on the side or back. The purpose is to push the abdominal content against the diaphragm wall.
A pt with pneumonectomy should only be turn towards the operative for a short period . The purpose is to give room for the unaffected lungs to expand and to prevent mediastinal shift.

Nephrotic diet pt need protein because they are protein waster
Renal diet-pt will be restricted on protein, sodium and potassium. Because pt have problem in excreting protein which lead to increase in BUN & Cr.
